  11. Users of all revisions of the series 75 should be aware of the following 
  12. constraints in using the AMIBIOS Setup Program.
  13.  
  14. 1.    ADVANCED CMOS SETUP
  15.       
  16. The 0E0000- 0EFFFF memory address is NOT available for adapter cards . This is 
  17. used by the system flash BIOS.  The option for Adaptor ROM Shadow E000, 64K 
  18. should be DISABLED.  
  19.      
  20. 2.    ADVANCED CHIPSET SETUP 
  21.  
  22. Do not use the WR-Thru setting for the DRAM Region B Control Mode option.  The 
  23. BIOS default is DISABLED.  In this case the DRAM will be continuous.  The 
  24. other available setting is HOLE.

  26. The HOLE setting can be used to define a hole in the board DRAM region. The 
  27. hole starting address and size can be defined using the settings in the DRAM 
  28. Region B Size option and the DRAM Region Base Address option.  This address 
  29. "HOLE" will be reserved on the VL/ISA bus for adapter cards to use.

  31. If the HOLE setting is used, make sure your Operating System is configured to 
  32. recognize the hole, and still use any DRAM present beyond the hole.
